Brain Tumor Center
At the Piedmont Hospital Brain Tumor Center, our focus is on you and the multidisciplinary management of your brain tumor.
It is our goal that each patient is seen as quickly as possible after receiving the diagnosis of a brain tumor.
It is our belief that each patient has a unique problem. We will treat each patient as an individual and spend as much time as needed to provide the patient and his or her family the information they need.
It is our responsibility to become a part of the patient's care from the initial time of diagnosis. This includes reviewing and ordering diagnostic testing, developing a treatment plan, and referring the patient to other individuals or groups that will become an integral part of their treatment.
It is our privilege to be involved in each patient's care and provide the best recommendations we can using our expertise and experience.
Each patient faces a journey that has not been made before. We will guide them along the way and make the experience as easy as possible. We will give support to the patients and their families.
We cannot do this alone and will rely on the patient's requests, the family's input and the resources that are available. We will work as a team and our goal is to make sure that the patient receives the best possible care in the way that is most beneficial to them.
