Stockbridge, Ga. (February 10, 2014) – Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Henry Hospital will host a cooking demonstration on Wednesday, February 26 aimed at helping patients battling cancer.
The Hunger Games demonstration will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s Foundation Education Center. Join Ellen Steinberg, Cancer Wellness dietitian, and Chef Beci Falkenberg as they address the challenges of recognizing true hunger, while offering smart eating strategies to keep you properly fueled.
Programs and services provided by Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Henry are free of charge to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers, thanks to a $1 million gift from former Equifax Chairman and CEO Thomas (Tom) F. Chapman and family.
Individual appointments with a registered dietitian are also available for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers who cannot make it to the cooking demonstration. Select Cancer Wellness programs also are available online for those unable to attend classes at Piedmont Henry.
