Dr. Felton is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones, such as arthritis, certain autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis. Prior to joining Piedmont Arthritis and Rheumatology, Dr. Felton was on staff at the United Osteoporosis Center in Gainesville and the Ochsner Clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City and completed her residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Felton also completed her rheumatology fellowship at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Felton is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
