Walter M. Lonergan, II, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Columbia. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego, California. Dr. Lonergan is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Lonergan was in practice at the PAPP Clinic. His special interests include general obstetrics and gynecologic services and obstetric care for the Hispanic population. Dr. Lonergan is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and the Coweta County Medical Society. In his free time, Dr. Lonergan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Lonergan is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
