Harrison Pollinger, DO is a multi-organ transplant surgeon at Piedmont Transplant Institute who specializes in robotic surgery and transplant surgery. Dr. Pollinger’s special interests include liver transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, bilateral laparoscopic nephrectomy, adult polycystic kidney disease, pancreas surgery and complex hernia repair.
Dr. Pollinger received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation and completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Pollinger is a board-certified surgeon. He has been published in several academic journals and has given presentations on his research at events from across the country.
