FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (December 7, 2010) – Piedmont Fayette Hospital and the American Heart Association are teaming up to provide a special infant CPR class. The two hour class is offered December 13 at 5 p.m. for a cost of $25 per person or $35 per couple. To register, call Link2Health toll-free at 1-866-900-4321.
Infant CPR is recommended for parents, expecting parents, as well as caregivers such as grandparents and baby sitters. Participants will receive training from certified American Heart Association representatives and have hands-on practice with infant manikins. The class focuses specifically on CPR for infants from birth to 1 year of age and participants do not receive complete adult CPR certification.
Participants are asked to meet on the 3rd floor Women's Services waiting area approximately 10 minutes prior to the start of class. Attendance is limited to adults only.
