These monthly support groups are for the caregivers of older adults with memory loss. Designed to be both informational and supportive, these groups provide a confidential and welcoming atmosphere for family members who want to learn more about dementia. The emotional, medical, legal, and financial aspects of this condition are discussed at every meeting. Every second Thursday from 1:00 - 2:30 pm at the Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church in Buckhead, 76 E Wesley Rd NE; and every fourth Monday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Wieuca Road Baptist Church near Phipps Plaza, 3626 Peachtree Rd NE.

This workshop includes practical information about understanding dementia, emotional issues, legal/financial concerns, community resources, and using the healthcare system.
