We pride ourselves in offering quality education and a nurturing environment for the new graduate transitioning from the role of student nurse to the role of registered nurse and the experienced nurse entering a new clinical specialty.
In addition to a one-on-one clinical preceptorship with an experienced registered nurse, our nurse residents participate in classes on critical thinking, conflict resolution, effective communication, assertiveness training, prioritization, delegation, and teamwork. Nurse Residents in the critical care, cardiovascular and emergency programs participate in critical care classes.
Please note residency programs are opened based upon vacant positions within the departments. Not all programs will open at below listed dates. Some programs may only open for one of the start dates a year.
The interviewing process includes a panel interview with nurse leaders in your area of interest and a representative from our Human Resources Department.
